The aim of the Australian Centre for Complexity Studies is to contribute to society through the exploration of the impact
that the complexity theories have on contemporary society.
Vision:
- To facilitate world leading research on the impact of the complexity theories on contemporary society.
- The development of strategies for shaping what we know, and what we need to know, about how we live and work in a complex
world.
- To encourage an acceptance by trainers, educators and commentators of the importance of context and environment in work-related,
business and organisational studies.
Our organisation:
- We are a self-organising, decentralised community of practice.
- Our head office and research centre is in Canberra, Australia.
- Our meetings are held wherever and whenever two or more people congregate.
- Our membership is open to anybody who can contribute to our understanding of the complexity sciences.
- We encourage full time sponsored research either as an institute or by individual members.
- We post our ideas and thoughts on the web and call for contributions to these ideas.
- Anyone can participate in any meeting, at any time.
