In 1998, after 15 years of widely recognised
leadership in the development and application of world-class people development strategies, our management team began studying
a unique phenomenon: Many organisations that spend a large percentage of their budget on training and staff development were
going broke while those that spent very little on staff training were experiencing great success. This made us wonder why,
with so much emphasis today on training as the potential cure-all for most of our national and organisational problems, this
phenomenon was so wide spread. The answer was so simple it surprised even us.
The results of this research, much of it acclaimed
right around the world, is today our core business. It is a systematic and programmed approach to identifying what an organisation
really wishes to achieve and, at the same time, how to prepare itself to achieve it with the right people, doing the right
work, in the right place and time, with the right tools. And the fact is that good people know to do this intuitively –
training just plugs the gaps between what many already know and how to learn those things that they don’t yet know,
or even acknowledge that one day they will need to know it.
But we are not a training company. We are
a client-service organisation that contributes to the success of our clients through the provision of high quality, timely,
and cost-effective advice and support. We can provide training but that is not our core business.
We are a group of experienced and widely respected
business associates who believe that as the needs and objectives of our clients are met, our organisation will grow and achieve
its aims and objectives.
We believe
that our strength lies in our:
- National
and international reputation for groundbreaking approaches to skills and knowledge management
- Commitment
to the growth and development of our clients at an individual and a corporate level
- Commitment
to bringing to our clients, their organisation and their organisation’s clients, national and international best-practice
methods, skills and knowledge
